Girone E 2026/27: the fourteen clubs on the mountain
The league has spoken, and it has moved the mountain. LND Campania has published the Seconda Categoria groups and the full fixture list for 2026/27, and ASD Terminio will climb in Girone E, not Girone F as we expected when we first wrote about the new season. Fourteen clubs, twenty-six rounds, and a first matchday on Saturday 3 October.
Opening day is at home: ASD Terminio against Calvi. Every home match this season is on a Saturday. Away matches are on Saturday or Sunday, with the home club confirming the day a few days before, so keep an eye on the Season page: each confirmed day and every result goes up there.
The andata runs to Saturday 19 December, when Pannarano Calcio visit for the last game before the winter break. We go again on the weekend of 9 and 10 January at Salza Irpina 1999, the ritorno starts at Calvi the weekend after, and the season ends at home on Saturday 17 April, against Salza Irpina 1999.
Most of the faces are new. Socrates Carpignano, seventh in Girone F last season, are the only club to make the move with us. The rest of the group stretches across Irpinia and into the Sannio: Atletico Benevento D.Q., Atripalda, Calvi, Eclanese, Pannarano Calcio, Real Avellino, Salza Irpina 1999, San Leucio del Sannio, Sant'Angelo a Scala, Serra 2007, Virtus Montefalcione and Virtus Montemiletto.
And then there is us. ASD Terminio finished fourth last season with 52 points and went out in the playoff semi-final against Sporting Volturara. Mister Romaniello and Francesco Palatucci closed that campaign unbeaten in the last eight, and the club has spent the summer keeping the group together and adding to it. Promotion is the goal. The joy of the climb is the point.
Full list of clubs, Seconda Categoria Girone E 2026/27: ASD Terminio, Atletico Benevento D.Q., Atripalda, Calvi, Eclanese, Pannarano Calcio, Real Avellino, Salza Irpina 1999, San Leucio del Sannio, Sant'Angelo a Scala, Serra 2007, Socrates Carpignano, Virtus Montefalcione, Virtus Montemiletto.
Correction: an earlier version of this article, published on 20 September before the league confirmed the groups, said we would play in Girone F. The official groups (LND Campania C.U. n. 26 and n. 27, 22 and 23 September) place us in Girone E.
Forza Terminio.
